Frankfurt/Main – The business operations of BIT Analytical Instruments GmbH in Schwalbach/Taunus were transferred today to the Fried Group, based in Urbach, and will be continued from November 1, 2025, under the name BIT Analytical Solutions GmbH. After six months of continued operations in a challenging market environment and the completion of a competitive bidding process, the company was handed over on October 31.
From the outset, the insolvency team at CMS aimed to ensure the continuation of operations and the preservation of business relationships. “With the Fried Group, BIT has found a strong and innovative partner. This takeover will secure more than 100 jobs at the Schwalbach site and preserve long-standing customer relationships,” said insolvency administrator Joachim Kühne.
Fried is a Swabian family-owned company with more than 45 years of experience in plastics engineering and coating, employing over 250 people. Fried is one of the leading companies in the industry. For many global market leaders in the medical and laboratory technology sectors, Fried develops customer-specific plastic solutions. Andreas Fried: “With BIT Analytical Solutions GmbH, we are expanding our offering for our long-standing customers and providing additional highly innovative products.”
